This band is totally unique and totally awesome! The range and variety of sounds on this record blows me away. They hail from Germany, and have wicked male/female vocals. The music ranges from down right heavy and dirgy crust, to more melodic stuff reminiscent of LOST WORLD. They have a lot of droning ambient musical breakdowns, sometimes with jazzy drum & bass action, mostly heavy with a hint of NEUROSIS, with some tribal drumming here and there. This band is really one of a kind, which makes it hard to compare them to anyone else, but trust me, they are great! If what you´ve read so far sounds even slightly interesting , then I highly recommend you pick this up. And if it hasn´t peaked your interest, then what the hell is wrong with you? 4 lenghthy midtempo tracks with dominant female harsh vocals here. Good musicianship paired with good ideas in songwriting this could have been a hell of arecord! But in the end the songs are getting a bit too repetitive for my taste. In my opinion more songs and less lenghth of the tracks would have made it more listenable. (But maybe that's the idea behind it ??!!) Others than that you'll get 4 songs of passionate, bassheavy, desperate rocking songs with mostly personal lyrix. (Skuld Releases)
